my story

My path has never been particularly linear; it has been a collection of obsessions, experiments, and lessons that continue to shape the way I see the world. I have always known what I wanted to do, just not what I wanted to achieve. I went to art school to learn the disciplines, and graduated with a Bachelors in Fine Art from Maine College of Art & Design. Although my background in fine art taught me to think visually; my work in CAD and fabrication taught me to make those ideas precise, functional, and buildable. From fabrication-ready CAD drawings and workflow automation to illustrations, printmaking, and interactive experiments, every project begins with the same goal: learn it, innovate on it, build it.

The mythological figure Daedalus represents more than mythology; he embodies the inventor, architect, craftsman, and engineer. I aim to continue that legacy, using wit and timeless techniques to create something new. How can I best use our modern technical tools of AutoCAD and programming to create new art and fabrications. The masters of old had their tools. These are mine.

my philosphy

My work moves freely between illustration, CAD, fabrication, code, design, and the disciplines an idea demands. I treat every project as a new mythology to be explored; to learn the language of its tools, its systems. This portfolio serves as both portfolio and workshop: a place to document completed projects, share ongoing experiments, and continue building new ideas across disciplines.
